NTL BOYS TENNIS: POLL WINS BUT TOWANDA FALLS TO LEWISBURG (April 16, 2026)

LEWISBURG — Bayley Poll stayed undefeated but Towanda lost 4-1 to Lewisburg in non-league boys tennis action Thursday.

Poll won 6-1, 6-4 at first singles over Henry Heintzelman for the Knights’ lone win. 

At second singles Towanda’s Matrix McCarter lost 6-0, 6-0 to Canyon Swartzentruber, while at third singles Kellen Colton fell 6-1, 6-0 to Luke Azeredo.

The Towanda duo of Emma Ackley and Brody Hennessy lost 6-3, 6-1 to Colby Jacob and Olin McIlwaine at first doubles, while at second doubles Towanda’s team of Travyn Lewis and Ethan Lane fell 6-2, 6-1 to Tyson Nicholls and Clark Nicholls.

Towanda travels to South Williamsport on Monday.
