NTL TRACK & FIELD: NEB'S MARTIN CLAIMS 3200 TITLE AT JOHNSON CITY INVITE(April 18, 2206) Northern Tier Sports Report JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. — NEB saw three track and field athletes earn top eight finishes at the Johnston City Square Deal Invitational Saturday.
Jackson Martin won the 3200 in 10;22.68 while also taking fourth in the 2000 steeplechase in 10:57.40.
Teammate Xavier Lockwood was sixth in the steeplechase in 11:46.10, while also taking eighth in the 3200 in 11:44.07.
On the girls’ side Sophie Bennett was sixth in the 3000 in 11:54.24.
