HORSEHEADS' BALL NAMED ZIFF LAW FIRM REGIONAL BOYS "ATHLETE OF THE WEEK"Ball struck out 10 in a one-hitter against Fairdale during the Blue Raiders' trip to Myrtle Beach.
At
the plate, Ball hit .571 with eight hits in 14 at-bats. He had one
double, one triple, three RBI and four runs scored on the week.

WYALUSING'S FLUCK, ATHENS' HILEY NAMED ZIFF LAW FIRM REGIONAL GIRLS "ATHLETES OF THE WEEK"Fluck led the Rams to a 4-0 week.
In the pitcher’s circle, she struck out 31, while allowing five walks, one run, and eight hits.
In the batter’s box, Fluck hit .692 (9-for-13) with one home run, one double, and seven RBI.
Hiley was 3-0 in the circle, allowed just two hits in 16 innings, while striking out 31 and walking seven.
In
her last start of the week, Hiley fanned 12 and walked none in a
one-hit shutout of Northeast Bradford. She also struck out 14 in a
1-hitter against Williamson.
At the plate, Hiley was 3-for-12 with three runs scored, one RBI, and one stolen base.
