NTL SOFTBALL: NEB FALLS LATE TO SUSQUEHANNA (April 20, 2026)

NEB dropped a 6-4 non-league softball game at Susquehanna over the weekend.

The Sabers went up 2-0 after one, but the Panthers would take the lead with a 3-run fourth.

Susquehanna tied it up with a run in the bottom of the fifth, while in the top of the sixth NEB reclaimed the lead with a run for a 4-3 game.

The Sabers would take the lead back for the last time with a 3-run bottom sixth.

Madilyn Callear (2-for-3) and Zoey Thetga (1-for-4) each scored a run and drove one in.

Karmyn McPherson (1-for-3), and Brianna Pelka each had an RBI as Orissa Gardner (1-for-3) scored a run. Kristina Larnard (1-for-3) had a hit.

Larnard tossed the first three innings with one strikeout, one walk, four hits, and four runs, three of which were earned.

Callear went the final three innings with one strikeout, two walks, two hits, and two unearned runs.
