BLASI HOMERS BUT SULLIVAN FALLS TO MUNCY (April 20, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportLAPORTE — It was close early but Sullivan County lost 19-2 in four innings to Muncy during Mid-Penn baseball action Monday.
The game was 1-1 after one, but in the top of the third the Indians pushed nine across to take control of the game. They added nine more in the next inning, with the Griffins getting their final run in the bottom of the fourth.
Tucker Blasi (1-for-1) had a home run with two runs scored to lead Sullivan.
Ryan Murray started, and went two innings with three strikeouts, five hits, two walks, and eight runs, six of which were earned.
Tucker Blasi tossed the next inning with two walks, two hits, and two earned runs. Carter Blasi relieved him, but didn’t record an out as he allowed two walks, one hit, and four earned runs.
Cole Ledger went the final inning with one walk, one hit, and five runs, four of which were earned.
In the bottom of the first Tucker Blasi took a 2-2 offering to right field for the 2-out home run to get Sullivan on the scoreboard.
In the bottom of the fourth Blasi would reach on a walk, then score on an error during a steal to third.
Sullivan County (1-9) is at Bucktail Wednesday.
