NTL TRACK & FIELD: CANTON BOYS, GIRLS THIRD IN TRI-MEET ACTION (April 21, 2026)

CANTON — The Canton boys and girls track and field teams both took third during NTL tri-meet action Tuesday.

The girls scored 32 points with Wellsboro (94) beating NP-Mansfield (61) while on the boys side Canton scored 16 points as Wellsboro (90) edged NPM (82).

On the girls’ side Danah Wesneski won the 300 hurdles (50.14), while the Warriors went 1-2 in the discus with Alexis McRoberts (118-feet, 5-inches) and Kendall Petrowski (94-feet, 8-inches).

McRoberts (39-feet) and Petrowski (24-feet, 11-inches) went first and third in the shot put as Petrowski was second in the javelin at 76-feet, 2-inches.

Daveian Crowley was second in the 100 (13.24),and third in the 200 (27.74). Hayley Larsen (4-feet, 8-inches) was third in the high jump.

For the boys Canton’s duo of John Whitehead (25.54) and Chase Petrowski (25.64) went 2-3 in the 200.

Wyatt Hilton won the shot put (43-feet, 4-inches) and was second in the discus (119-feet, 6-inches)
