NTL TRACK & FIELD: TROY BOYS SECOND DURING QUAD MEET WITH NEB, ATHENS, AND WILLIAMSON (April 21, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportATHENS — The Troy boys track and field team took second during an NTL quad-meet on Tuesday.
The Trojans scored 39 points with Athens (88.5) pulling away to win. Williamson (32) was third, and NEB (29.5) came in fourth.
Troy girls (27) and NEB (11) were third and fourth with Athens (79) pulling out a sweep over Williamson (60).
On the boys’ side Troy’s Jasper Miller won the 200 (23.74) while taking third in the 100 in 11.60.
Teammate Cameron Morey won the long jump (19-feet, 9 1/2-inches) with NEB’s Eli Stanton (18-feet, 10-inches) in second and fellow Panther Dan Barrett (17-feet, 5-inches) taking third.
Morey also won the triple jump in 42-feet, 5-inches as NEB’s Landon Chapman (37-feet, 11-inches) came in second.
Troy’s Timothy Hornung (128-feet 4-inches) won the javelin as teammates Micah Pesesky (35-feet, 8 1/4-inches) and Seth Feldmeier (33-feet) were second and third in the shot put.
Barrett (55.66) was second in the 400 with Mason Wulff (2:10.5) and Jackson Martin (2:12.34) second and third in the 800. Martin also took second in the 1600 in 4:47.98.
Martin (10:39.03) won the 3200 with teammate Levi Dewing (10:59.77) in third. Chapman (5-feet, 2-inches) was third in the high jump.
Troy’s Alex Breidt (9-feet) was third in the pole vault.
For the girls Troy’s Kylee Roy (17.16) was second in the 100 hurdles.
Troy’s Ellie Spalding (13.67) was third in the 100 while NEB’s Sophie Bennett (2:45.75) was second in the 800. Bennett took second in the 1600 in 5:42.68, while finishing third in the 3200 in 13:10.27.
Troy’s Zyra Houghson (4-feet, 8-inches) was third in the high jump with teammate Maddy Keeney (14-feet, 11 1/2-inches) third in the long jump.
Troy’s Leah Barkley was second in the pole vault at 6-feet, 6-inches, as Emma Mickley (82-feet, 4-inches) and Sarah Caudill (81-feet, 10-inches) went 2-3 in the discus.
