NTL TRACK & FIELD: WOODRUFF'S BIG DAY LEADS TOWANDA AT LASAGNA INVITE (April 25, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportWYALUSING — Towanda’s Brynn Woodruff had the longest javelin throw in the state for Class AA on Friday as she won the event at the Lasagna Invitational.
Woodruff’s toss of 136-feet, 11-inches was the first Class AA javelin thrower to go over 130-feet this year.
Maris Cobb took home gold in the 3200 (11:53.28) and was fourth in the 1600 (5:25.55).
Marin Maynard was second in the pole vault (9-feet, 6-inches), with Mary-Kate Eberlin third in the 800 (2:26.42). The Black Knight 4x800 was also third in 10:06.86.
Cheyenne Morgan was fifth in the pole vault at 9-feet, Eliana Cook took sixth in the shot put at 31-feet, 5 1/2-inches), and Mya Maynard was seventh in the shot put at 31-feet, 3-inches.
On the boys’ side Jazick Brown was second in the 400 (50.53) and third in the 100 (11.19), as the 4x400 won in 3:42.99.
Markell Garner was fourth in the shot put (47-feet, 2-inches), and Tanner Vanderpool took sixth in the pole vault (11-feet, 6-inches).
