NTL TRACK & FIELD: CANTON REWRITES RECORD BOOKS AT LASAGNA INVITE (April 25, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportWYALUSING — Canton feasted at the Lasagna Invitational Friday as they rewrote their track and field record books.
Alexis McRoberts re-broke her discus record, Lawrence Halbfoerster broke the 1600 and 3200 meter records, and the 4x100 relay of Daveian Crowley, Hayley Larsen, Danah Wesneski, and Stella Rockwell broke the 400 meter relay record.
McRoberts won the discus in 134-feet, 11-inches, lengthening her old record. She also won the shot put in 39-feet, 4 1/2-inches.
The 4x100 took fifth overall in 52.49.
Crowley was third in the 400 (1:02.98) and fifth in the 100 (13.12). Wesneski took fourth in the 300 hurdles in 49.96 as Kendall Petrowski was sixth in the discus in 90-feet, 10-inches.
Halbfoerster re-broke his record in the mile to run 4:26.88, taking fifth overall. He was third in the 3200 in 9:35.90 to lower the Canton record.
