NTL BASEBALL: WYALUSING DROPS CONTEST TO WELLSBORO (April 28, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportWYALUSING — Wyalusing lost 18-0 to Wellsboro in five innings during NTL baseball action Tuesday.
After a scoreless first the Hornets put up four runs in the second, then tacked on three more in the third.
They added two in the fourth, then notched nine in the fifth to get the win.
Marshall Huston (1-for-3) and Gage Tinna (1-for-2) had the two Wyalusing hits.
Jared VandeMark started, and went 2 1/3-innings with three strikeouts, one walk, seven hits, and seven runs, six of which were earned.
Owen Brown went 1 2/3-innings with four strikeouts, three walks, five hits, and six earned runs.
Huston then came on but didn’t record an out, allowing on walk, four hits, and five earned runs.
Campbell Carr pitched the final inning with one hit.
Wyalusing (3-11) travels to South Williamsport on Wednesday.
