NTL SOFTBALL: WYALUSING ROUTS SAYRE (April 30, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportWYALUSING — Wyalusing softball kept rolling as they beat Sayre, 16-1 in four innings, during NTL action Thursday.
The Rams jumped out with an 11-run first inning, then scored one more in the second.
Sayre got one back in the top of the third, then Wyalusing ended the game with a 4-run fourth.
Callee Warner (3-for-3) scored twice as Addisyn Bly (2-for-2) had a triple with an RBI.
Addison Fluck (1-for-2) had a home run with 3-RBI as Kyla Carpenter (2-for-3) had a triple with two runs scored.
Treanna Nickeson (2-for-2) drove in two runs while Raelea Harvey (1-for-3) scored twice and drove in a run.
Ellie Adams (1-for-1) had a double with a run scored as Maddison Adams, Josie Ferris (1-for-2), Hannah Fulmer (1-for-2), and Riley O’Connor all crossed home.
Fulmer, and Kirra Millard (1-for-2) each had an RBI.
Fluck started, and went two innings with three strikeouts, no walks, no hits, and no runs scored.
Laynee Burgess tossed the next two innings with no strikeouts, one walk, one hit, and one run.
Bly opened the game with a triple then scored on a Nickeson single for a 1-0 contest.
Ferris then reached on an error, followed by O’Connor driving in Nickeson on a fielder’s choice.
Millard then singled in Ferris for a 3-0 lead, which set up Fluck’s first pitch 3-run home run to make it 6-0.
Carpenter would get the rally going again with a triple, followed by Warner singling. Harvey would bring home Carpenter on a fielder’s choice to make it 7-0.
Bly came back up and singled in Warner, followed by a Nickeson hit driving in Harvey. Ferris would single to load the bases.
An O’Connor fielder’s choice allowed Bly to score, followed by Nickeson taking home on an error off the bat of Millard.
In the second Carpenter led off with a double, followed by Warner hitting a single. Two batters later an error off the bat of Bly allowed Carpenter to come home for a 12-0 ball game.
Warner led off the fourth with a hit, then scored on a Harvey double. An error off the bat of Maddison Adams allowed Harvey to score to make it a 14-1 game.
After an out a Fulmer double brought in Maddison Adams. Ellie Adams would get a hit to keep the inning going.
Two batters later Fulmer scores on an error off the bat of Emily Johns for the 16-1 final.
Wyalusing (11-5) will travel to Canton next Tuesday with a 4:30 p.m. start.
