SULLIVAN COUNTY FALLS TO MILLVILLE (May 1, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportLAPORTE — Sullivan County baseball lost 15-1 to Millville in five innings during Mid-Penn action Friday.
It was scoreless through two innings when the Quakers put up eight runs in the third.
They tacked on four more in the top of the fourth to go up 12-0.
The Griffins got one back in the bottom half of the inning, with Millville adding three more in the fifth for the 14-run win.
Ryan Murray (1-for-2) had a double and a run scored as John Tabor (1-for-2) drove in a run. Cole Barto (1-for-2) also had a hit.
Madden Fries started, going three innings with two strikeouts, 10 walks, two hits, and eight runs, five of them earned.
Garrett Burke tossed the final two innings with one strikeout, six walks, three hits, and seven earned runs.
Murray led off the fourth with a double then scored three batters later on a Tabor 1-out single.
Sullivan County (2-12) travels to CV on Monday with a 4 p.m. start.
