NTL TRACK & FIELD: JOHNS PACES WYALUSING BOYS AT MIDD-WEST INVITATIONAL (May 1, 2026)
Northern Tier Sports ReportMIDDLETOWN — The Wyalusing boys track and field team took fourth at the Midd-West Invitational Friday.
The Rams finished with 72 points, while on the girls side Wyalusing was sixth with 54 points.
Dylan Johns led the way for the boys as he took first in the high jump (5-feet, 10-inches), and third in the long jump (20-feet, 9 1/2-inches).
Joshua Palfreyman took third in the shot put (44-feet, 10 1/2-inches) and fourth in the discus (124-feet, 10-inches).
Jonathan Earle was third in the pole vault (12-feet, 6-inches), and eighth in the 300 hurdles (45.99), with teammate Jack Fischer sixth in the 300 hurdles (45.30), and seventh in the 110 hurdles (17.71).
Tyler Caplan was third in the pole vault (39-feet, 6 1/2-inches), John Kerin was fourth in the high jump (5-feet, 4-inches), Conner Earle took sixth in the javelin (131-feet, 5-inches), Ethan Vanderpool was seventh in the javelin (125-feet, 1-inch), James Weaver finished seventh in the high jump (5-feet, 2-inches), with Sullivan McCracken and Tyler Grover tying for seventh in the pole vault at 9-feet.
Aiden Neiley was eighth in the 800 (2:06.81), Cody Tuttle took eighth in the 1600 (5:10.20), and Parker Cunningham was eighth in the triple jump (35-feet, 6 1/2-inches).
The 4x400 was fourth in 3:43.81, while the 4x800 took fight in 9:22.28.
Lia Fischer was a 3-time medalist to lead the Lady Rams, taking third in the triple jump (33-feet, 1/4-inch), fifth in the 100 hurdles (17.75), and seventh in the 300 hurdles (54.41).
Jenna Morningstar was second in the high jump (4-feet, 8-inches), and third in the long jump (15-feet, 9 1/4-inches), as Vayda Rought took fourth in the 100 (13.21), and eighth in the long jump (15-feet, 1-inch).
Storey Newell was fourth in the pole vault (7-feet, 6-inches), Megan King took sixth in the 300 hurdles (53.77), Ava King was sixth in the triple jump (31-feet, 5 3/4-inches), Addi Vanderpool was seventh in the javelin (98-feet, 11-inches), and Alyssa Neagle took eighth in the triple jump at 30-feet, 4 1/4-inches.
The 4x800 was fourth in 12:55.82, as the 4x100 took sixth in 53.96.
