TOWANDA JH BOYS FOURTH AT NTL TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS (May 5, 2026)

WELLSBORO — The Towanda boys track and field team took fourth at the NTL Junior High Championships on Tuesday. The Knights scored 46 points to finish in the top five, while on the girls’ side Towanda scored 22 points to take ninth.

On the boys’ side Dempsey Stevens won the 400 (56.15) and took second in the 100 (12.38).

The Towanda 4x100 was third in 51.18, with the 4x400 taking fifth in 4:53.58.

The Knights finished with three medalists in the long jump at Stevens (15-feet, 1 1/2-inches), Tyler Barrett (14-feet, 11 1/4-inches), and Enriques Godines (14-feet, 3 1/4-inches) were fourth, fifth, and sixth.

On the girls’ side Alexis Marshall was second in the shot put at 27-feet, 4 1/2-inches.
