NTL BASEBALL: NEB FALLS TO NP-MANSFIELD (May 5, 2026)

ROME — NEB led but a 3-run top sixth allowed NP-Mansfield to pull out a 3-1 win during NTL baseball action Tuesday.

The Panthers led 1-0 after the fourth but two innings later the Tigers rallied.

Kohen Hugo (1-for-3) scored their run as Cooper Hugo (1-for-3), Tanner Judson (1-for-3), and Nate Gross (1-for-3) also had hits. 

Anthony Johnson drove in the run.

Gross went the distance for NEB in the loss, striking out four with one walk, seven hits, and no earned runs.

In the fourth Kohen Hugo led off with a single, then scored two batters later on a Johnson ground out for the early Panther lead.

NEB (9-8) travels to Wellsboro on Thursday.
