NTL TRACK & FIELD: TOWANDA GIRLS TAKE SECOND AT NTL CHAMPIONSHIPS (May 9, 2026)

ATHENS — The Towanda girls track and field came up just short of an NTL Track and Field title Friday, taking second with 126.83 points.

Wellsboro (145) won their first team title since 2014.

The Knights had multiple champions in Brynn Woodruff taking the javelin title in 129-feet, 3-inches, while Marin Maynard won the pole vault in 9-feet, 6-inches.

Mary-Kate Eberlin, Maris Cobb, and Mya Maynard were all three time medalists on the day.

Eberlin was third in the 400 (1:04.90), fourth in the 800 (2:28.09), and fifth in the 1600 (5:31.07), as Cobb was second in the 1600 (5:24.02), second in the 3200 (11:59.87), and took eighth in the 800 (2:29.30).

Mya was second in the discus (104-feet), second in the shot put (35-feet, 1 1/4-inches), and third in the javelin (99-feet, 1-inch).

Izzy Larson took fourth in the 400 (1:04.94), and seventh in the 800 (2:29.78) as Natalyn Morris won silver in the high jump (4-feet, 10-inches).

Cheyenne Morgan was second in the pole vault (8-feet, 6-inches), Eliana Cook was third in the shot put (34-feet, 9 1/4-inches) and fifth in the javelin (95-feet, 5-inches).

Lilyann Sproule was sixth in the shot put (29-feet, 6 1/2-inches), Katelyn Blokzyl took seventh in the 100 hurdles (18.04), Allexys Shaffer was fifth in the pole vault (7-feet), with Kennedy Heyer tied for the eighth in the high jump at 4-feet, 4-inches.

The 4x400 was fifth in 4:30.63, the 4x800 was fifth in 11:41.32, and the 4x100 took seventh in 54.23.
