NTL SOFTBALL: TOWANDA FALLS TO TUNKHANNOCK IN 8-INNING WALK-OFF (May 12, 2026)

TUNKHANNOCK — Towanda softball fell in an 8-inning walk to Tunkhannock, 1-0, during non-league action Tuesday.

It was scoreless through seven when in the eighth Towanda had two on with two out but couldn’t bring them home.

In the bottom half the Tigers loaded the bases with 1-out. Towanda’s Leila Cobb would get a strikeout, but the next batter drew a walk to secure the win.

Payton Perry (1-for-3), Brooklyn Evans (1-for-3), and Kendall Cook (1-for-3) had the three Knight hits.

Cobb struck out 16 in the loss, allowing seven walks, three hits, and one earned run.

Towanda (14-4) will await to see who they play in the District IV, Class AAA playoffs next week.
