NTL TRACK & FIELD: WYALUSING HAS THREE MEDALISTS AT D4 TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS (May 15, 2026)

MILTON — Wyalusing came away with three medalist after the first day of the District IV Track and Field Championships Thursday.
Dylan Johns, Ethan VanderPool, and Jenna Morningstar all reached the podiums in their field events.
Johns (20-feet, 11-inches) was fourth in the long jump, VanderPool (157-feet, 1-inch) took sixth in the javelin, and Morningstar (16-feet, 3/4-inches) was eighth in the girls’ long jump.
Also for the girls Lia Fischer (16.55) was third in the 100 hurdle preliminaries, punching her ticket to the finals on Saturday.
Vayda Rought just missed the podium in the long jump (15-feet, 11 3/4-inches), taking ninth, while she was 14th in the 100 preliminaries in 13.18.
In the 110 hurdle prelims Jack Fischer (17.60) was 12th, and Jonathan Earle (18.03) came in 15th.
Conner Earle was 14th in the javelin at 124-feet, 5-inches with Shay Gartland 12th in the long jump in 19-feet, 3-inches.
Joshua Palfreyman (41-feet, 2-inches) took 14th in the shot put as Tyler Caplan was 23rd in the 100 prelims in 12.00.
Both 4x800 relays came in 14th.
The boys’ team of Aiden Neiley, Camron Cole, Parker Cunningham, and Cody Tuttle ran 9:13.41, while the girls’ team of Camryn Gesford, Riley Porter, Megan King, and Carol Scarborough ran 11:17.30.
