It was a turning of the page for Troy track and field this year as the Trojans continued to find success on the track, and field.

"The season went well - some of the highlights were watching Cameron Morey jump 43-feet in triple jump at Districts to make it to states," said Troy coach Amy Miller. "Taking newcomer sophomore Toby Stanton to districts for 300 hurdles, junior Ellie Spalding going to districts for the 100, junior Parker Lee going to districts for pole vault, sophomore Jasper Miller going to districts for the 100 and 200m, and the boys 4x400 with Stanton, Lucas Norton, Miller, Mason Wulff taking second in their heat at districts."

Morey had a strong year in the long, triple, and high jumps as while fellow senior Kylee Roy made the district podium in the 100 hurdles.

Morey would take second at the District IV Championships to punch his ticket to states in states in the triple jump.

At the NTL Invite Roy (100 hurdles), Miller (200), and Emma Mickley (discus) all had top three finishes.

Team wise the Troy boys were seventh with 40 points while the girls were eighth with 41.3 points.

Things only up from here as they build in the incoming freshman class, which includes standout Harper Lee on the girls' side.

"I am looking forward to next year as we bring in a talented group of freshmen," Miller said.
