NTL BASEBALL: YOUTHFUL WYALUSING BATTLES THROUGH 2026 SEASON (June 10, 2026)

It was a growing year for Wyalusing baseball as the youthful Rams transitioned to a new coaching staff for the third time in three years.
Wyalusing went 3-17 on the year though they did pick up a thrilling 6-5 win over their rivals Towanda two games into the season.
They also beat Williamson (9-7) and routed Sayre (13-3).
The Rams also had their fair share of hard fought losses to NP-Mansfield (4-3), Athens (5-2), and Blue Ridge (6-5).
Griffin Sheldon posted a strong season, hitting .396 with a team high 19 hits and 17 runs scored to go with two doubles.
Michael Phillips batted .255 with 9-RBI, three doubles, and 11 runs scored.
Marshall Huston had a team high 12-RBI with three doubles, as well.
Wyalusing saw four pitchers toss over 20-innings, led by Jared VandeMark going 26 1/3-innings with a team high 31 strikeouts.
Dawson Biza pitched 24-innings with 11 strikeouts, while Owen Brown tossed 22 2/3-innings with 22 strikeouts.
Campbell Carr tossed 21-innings, as well.
Everybody comes back for Wyalusing as the Rams look to improve to be competitive in the 2027 season.
