YOUTH: NEBALL COMES UP SHORT AGAINST ELK LAKE (June 13, 2026)

Northern Tier Sports Report
LERAYSVILLE — NEBall fell down early and wasn't able to rally as they lost to Elk Lake, 6-2, during District 33 Majors Softball action Saturday.

Elk Lake jumped out to a 3-0 led in the first inning. NEBall chipped away, scoring runs in each of the second and third innings to make it a 1-run ball game.

Elk Lake added two more in the fourth for a 3-run lead. They would score an insurance run in the fifth for the 6-2 final.

Brooke Kolesar (3-for-3) led NEBall with an RBI, while Annalynn Eaton (2-for-3) scored a run. Rileigh Crawford (2-for-3) had a multi-hit game as Emma Eastabrook (1-for-3) drove in a run.

Ellie Aldefer crossed home, while striking out nine from the circle.

NEBall (0-1) will travel to Tunkhannock (0-1) on Monday.
