YOUTH: RIVER RATS GO 2-2 AT TOURNAMENT (June 14, 2026)

The Susquehanna River Rats 11U went 2-2 this past weekend.
They lost their opener 6-5, but then won back to back games over DP Canes Green 7-4, and 6-5.
They ended the weekend with a 6-5 loss.
In their opener Case Morningstar (2-for-3) had a double with a run scored, and an RBI, with Luke Ball (1-for-3) driving in three runs with a run scored.
Emerson Clouse (1-for-2), Wesley Carr (1-for-3), and Brantley Simpson all scored with Forrest Fisk (1-for-3) driving in a run.
Andrew E went the first three innings with three strikeouts, one walk, five hits, and four earned runs. Ball tossed the next two innings with one strikeout, two walks, four hits, and two earned runs, as Morningstar pitched the final two-thirds with one strikeout.
In the first win over the DP Canes Green Clouse (1-for-2) had a double with a run scored, as Carr (1-for-3) and Ball (1-for-3) both scored twice.
Simpson (1-for-3), and Jase both scored, as Andrew (1-for-1) and Fisk (1-for-3) each had hits. Lucas H drove in a run.
Lucas went the distance, striking out four with one walk, four hits, and four runs, two of which were earned.
In the second win over DP Simpson (1-for-3) scored, and drove in a run, as Carr crossed home twice.
Tanner R (1-for-2), and Fisk (1-for-1) both scored, as Jackson Case (1-for-3), and Lucas each had an RBI.
Ball went the first 1 2/3-innings with no strikeouts, three walks, five hits, and five earned runs.
Morningstar pitched the final 4 1/3-innings with five strikeouts, three walks, and one hit.
In the final game Carr (3-for-3) had a double with a run scored, as Tanner (2-for-2) scored twice and drove in a run.
Clouse (2-for-3), and Lucas (1-for-2) both scored with Simpson (1-for-3) driving in two runs. Morningstar (1-for-1) also had a hit.
Tanner went 4 1/3-innings with three strikeouts, two walks, six hits, and six runs, four of which were earned.
Morningstar went two-thirds with two strikeouts.
