WINDHAM — NEBall out gunned Elk Lake, 14-6, during District 33 Majors Softball Championship bracket action Friday.
NEBall will travel to RTL on Sunday at 4 p.m.
It was 2-1 NEBall after one, then in the second they out scored Elk Lake 5-2 to take a 7-3 lead.
After a scoreless third Elk Lake chipped into the lead in the fourth, out scoring NEBall to cut it to 9-6.
NEBall, though, pulled away with a 5-run fifth to get the win.
Ellie Alderfer (2-for-4) had two doubles, two runs scored, and an RBI with Brooke Kolesar (2-for-4) scoring a run while driving one in.
Annalynn Eaton (1-for-4) scored twice and had 2-RBI as Emma Eastabrook (3-for-4) scored and had an RBI.
Aliyah Kolesar (1-for-3) scored three times with an RBI with Rileigh Crawford (1-for-2) scoring twice.
Laken Chapman scored, and drove in a run, with Aubrey Johnson crossing home twice. Mollie Callear drove in a run.
Callear went four innings with five strikeouts, while Alderfer pitched the final inning.
