RALSTON — Towanda's bats got hot late as they pulled away from Canton, 13-4, during District 15 Majors Softball action Saturday.

Towanda stays alive with the win and will face Wellsboro on Monday while Canton falls out of the tournament.

Lily Strope (3-for-5) had a double with 4-RBI ad two runs scored to lead Towanda as Nora Cashdollar (2-for-4) scored three times.

Brielle Pratt (1-for-3) scored four times and drove in two runs as Scarlett Scanna (1-for-3) had 2-RBI.

Emma Roberts scored twice with Harper Reider and Madelyn Wilcox both crossing home.

Sloane Stevens struck out 11 in the win.

For Canton Angel Young (1-for-3) had a double with 2-RBI And a run scored as Karleigh Andersen scored twice, and Lydia Jennings crossed home once.

Jennings started, and went three innings with five strikeouts, while Kennedy Wilcox tossed the final three innings with seven strikeouts.
