LEROY — Canton defeated Sayre, 12-2 in four innings, during District 15 Minors Baseball action Sunday.

It was 2-2 after one when Canton rattled off eight runs in the second for a 10-2 lead. Canton added two more runs in the third to get the win.

Ike P (1-for-2) scored twice, and drove in two runs for Canton as Dean P (1-for-2) and Abe P (1-for-2) each had 2-RBI and a run scored.

Camden (1-for-1) scored twice, as Beau B and Jett D also crossed home twice. Beau also drove in a run.

Dawson, and Lee H both scored.

Dean started, and went 2 2/3-innings with eight strikeouts, as William F tossed the final 1 1/3-innings with four strikeouts.

Canton will travel to Towanda on June 25 for their next game.
