TROY — Troy Majors baseball rolled past Elkland, 11-1 in four innings, during District 15 action Wednesday.
Troy jumped out to a 4-1 lead after one, then scored three more in the second. They notched another run in the third, then finished out the game with a 3-run fourth.
River Barth (1-for-3) tripled while scoring twice, and driving in a run, as Isaac Watson (1-for-2) scored twice.
Ecko Kolb (1-for-2) and Joshua Mueller both crossed home twice, with Jase Sheeley, Brennan Scott, and Ethan Kendall all scored.
Ezra Kolb (1-for-2), and Keegan Root both drove in a run, with Wesley Wray (1-for-2), and Connor Packard (1-for-2) each getting a hit.
Packard started, and went three innings with six strikeouts, as Root went the final inning, striking out three.
Troy will host Sayre on Friday in the first round of bracket play.
