MONTROSE — RTL Minors baseball rolled past Montrose, 19-8, during District 33 pool play action Saturday.

RTL led 1-0 after the first inning, then rattled off eight runs in the second. 

Montrose came back with six runs in the third to make it a 3-run game, but RTL responded with five runs in the fourth.

In the sixth RTL out scored Montrose 5-2 to get the win.

Eli (4-for-4) had 3-RBI and four runs scored while Bryson (4-for-4) had 4-RBI with three runs scored.

Kase (2-for-3) had 3-RBI and two runs scored with Dax (2-for-4) driving in two runs with a run scored.

Gavin (2-for-3) had 2-RBI as Huck (1-for-2) scored three times with an RBI.

Everett (1-for-3) scored and drove in a run as Hector (1-for-3), Matthew (1-for-2), Logan (1-for-4), Emmett, and Thomas all scored.

Bryson went two innings with four strikeouts with Eli coming in relief.

Dax went two innings with three strikeouts, as Logan tossed the final inning.

RTL will await the winner of NEBall and Montrose on July 1.
