YOUTH: NEBALL MINORS BASEBALL ENDS POOL PLAY WITH WIN OVER TUNKHANNOCK (June 28, 2026)

NEBall Minors baseball ended District 33 pool play with an 14-8 win over Tunkhannock.
NEBall led 9-3 after one, then out scored Tunkhannock 2-1 in the second.
After trading runs through the third and fourth innings, Tunkhannock scored two in the fifth, with NEBall getting one in the sixth.
Wyatt Allen (3-for-4) had a home run with a double and two runs scored for NEBall, as Eddie Weaver (2-for-3) also had a homer with a run scored.
Levi Snyder (4-for-4) and Merrick Thetga (4-for-4) were both perfect from the plate with a run scored, as Fisher Kolmel (3-for-3) had two doubles and scored four times.
Ledger Chapman (2-for-3), Carson Smith (2-for-4), Waylon Merritt (2-for-3), Lennon Young (1-for-3), and Noah Eastabrook (1-for-3) all scored.
Dylan Eastabrook (2-for-3) had a multi-hit game.
NEBall will travel to Montrose on Monday to start bracket play.
