YOUTH: TROY MINORS STAYS ALIVE WITH WALK-OFF WIN OVER TIOGA-LAWRENCEVILLE (July 4, 2026)

LAWRENCEVILLE — This summer's cardiac kids pulled out close win, as Troy used a 14-13 walk-off victory over Tioga-Lawrence in seven innings to stay alive in District 15 Minors Baseball elimination bracket action Saturday.
In the bottom of the seventh Carter Redline singled in Miles Sparling to stay alive.
This is the third straight 1-run game Troy has played to, winning the past two.
Troy led 5-0 after three with Tioga-Lawrenceville getting on the scoreboard with a run in the fourth.
The teams both scored three runs each in the fifth, with Tioga-Lawrenceville out scoring Troy 9-5 in the sixth to knot things up.
Braxton Spencer (2-for-4) had a triple with 3-RBI and two runs scored, as Clayton Morgan (3-for-4) scored three times with an RBI.
Sparling (2-for-2) tripled with two runs scored, as Austin Blasz (2-for-2) had a double with a run scored, and 3-RBI.
Colton Petris (2-for-2) doubled drove in a run, and scored three times, with Drew Wheeler (2-for-4) driving in two runs.
Redline (2-for-4) scored a run to go with the game winning RBI, as Jonas Schap (2-for-4) and Lincoln Bailey (1-for-4) both scored. Corban Breckinridge (1-for-4) had an RBI.
Schap started, and went four innings, striking out eight to go over 100 strikeouts for the season. He sits at 102.
Sparling went 1 1/3-innings with one strikeout, as Reed Hurlburt went the final 1 2/3-innings with three strikeouts to get the win.
Troy travels to Towanda on Monday in the elimination bracket semifinals.
