SAYRE — Towanda Minors Baseball saw their season end with an 11-1 loss to Southern Tioga in four innings during District 15 Elimination bracket play Friday.

Southern lead 4-0 after one, then scored six more in the second. They added a run in the third to make it 11-0.

Towanda prevented the shutout with a run in the fourth.

Cole Williams (1-for-2) scored the team as he was driven in by Rayden Bailey. Eric Towner (1-for-2) and Cole Spencer (1-for-2) also had hits.

Chase Lewis started, and went two innings with three strikeouts. Greyson Irvine tossed the final inning, striking out one.

Towanda went 5-4 during their season and finished third in the district.
