MANSFIELD — Towanda Minors Softball lost another nail-biter, falling 4-2 to Warrior Run during the Section III winner-take-all game Saturday.

Towanda got up early, taking a 2-1 lead after the first inning, but Warrior Run tied it up with a run in the second.

They added runs in the fourth and fifth for the 2-run win.

Towanda out hit Warrior Run 9-5 in the contest.

Gracie Vanderpool (3-for-3) was perfect from the plate with an RBI while striking out 10 in the circle.

Jonica Owen (1-for-3) scored, and drove in a run, as Eme Maye (1-for-3) scored their other run.

Kendra Cashdollar (2-for-2) was also perfect from the batter's box as Adley Miller (1-for-3) and Ava Popovich (1-for-3) also had hits.

Towanda finished the season 8-2.
