Troy Juniors Softball saw Lily Weaver and Blaklee Brown combine for a shutout as they defeated Radnor-Wayne 5-0 in the first round of the state tournament Tuesday.

It was scoreless through three when Troy broke through with a run in the fourth. They took control of the game with a 4-run sixth.

Weaver went the first four innings, striking out seven with three hits and three walks, while Brown came on for the final three innings, fanning four with no walks, and four hits.

Aubrey Knapp (1-for-3) tripled, drove in two runs, and scored twice for Troy as Lydia Blasz (1-for-2) had a triple with a run scored.

Haleigh Shultz (1-for-2) drove in a run, as Brown scored, and had an RBI. Mya Monro also crossed home.

Troy will face the hosts, Corry, on Wednesday with a 6 p.m. start.
