CORRY — Troy Junior Softball fell to West Suburban 16-0 in five innings during the culmination of the winner's bracket at the Pennsylvania State Tournament.

Playing their third day in a row while West Suburban had a day off, Troy found themselves down 3-0 after the first inning. West Suburban scored four more in the third, six in the fourth, and three more in the fifth.

Aubrey Knapp (1-for-1) tripled as Lydia Blasz (1-for-1) also had a hit.

Blaklee Brown started, and went 4 2/3-innings with two strikeouts. Josie Van Noy tossed the final third.

Troy will take on the winner of DuBois and Corry in the elimination bracket final on Friday.
