TIOGA JUNCTION — Canton lost in the quarterfinals at the Williamson Volleyball Tournament Saturday.

The Warriors went 4-5 in pool play as they swept Sayre (25-20, 25-17, 15-9), went 1-2 against Northern Potter (25-14, 16-25, 16-17), and were swept by eventual champions Troy (17-25, 15-25, 9-15).

In the quarterfinals they lost to Coudersport (18-25).

Makenna Seachrist had 17 kills, 22 digs, four aces, two blocks, and an assist for Canton, as Cailyn Van Noy had 37 digs, two kills, two aces, and two assists.

Peyton Taylor had 25 assists, six kills, and two digs, with Addy Cardona getting 10 kills, seven blocks, and two digs.

Danah Wesneski notched 15 digs, five kills, five assists, two aces, and one block, with Kaybree Kendall getting 23 digs, six aces, and one assist.

Hannah Walters had 10 kills, seven digs, and two assists, Brenna Van Noy had 14 assists and 15 digs, and Emilia Pepper tallied nine kills, nine digs, and one assist.

Canton is back at Williamson on Tuesday.
