Canton (1-0) is coming off an exciting win over CV while Montgomery (1-0) dominated Hughesville in their week one contest.

"It was nice to get a win last week to start the season," said Canton coach Tyler Sechrist. "We are excited to get back on the field at home again this Friday night."

Montgomery rolled to a 24-0 win over Hughesville in week one.

"Montgomery is a very good football team," said Sechrist. "They are well coached and have a bunch of experienced football players."

The Raiders ran for 321 yards with three different backs going gaining over 80 yards in the game.

"We need to bring pressure and make sure of tackles, and not allow extra yards after contact," said Sechrist.

KEYS TO THE GAME

Montgomery - Get pressure on the quarterback. CV found out last weekend what happens if Owen Moore can get the ball off to his receivers. 

Canton - Slow down the run. Easier said than done but the Raiders were just 1-for-6 throwing the ball last week, so the Warriors would probably rather see them throw than run.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Trace Furman, Montgomery, RB - He ran 106 yards and a score against Hughesville, and did it all with just 13 carries.

Bailey Gardner, Canton, RB - Gardner had over 200 total yards last week, and will likely need a repeat performance if the Warriors are to get the upset.
