CROSS-COUNTRY: SULLIVAN BOYS EARN SWEEP; TROY, SULLIVAN GIRLS NIPPED BY CV (September 8, 2026)

EAST TROY — Sullivan County boys rolled to a tri-meet sweep in NTL cross-country action Tuesday, while on the girls side it was CV getting the best of Sullivan and Troy.
For the boys the Griffins beat Troy (18-37) and CV (16-39), while the Trojans topped CV (18-41).
Sullivan went 1-through-4 in the race, led by Calen Sweigart (18:20) in first. He was followed by Chase Preston (19:17), Carter Blasi (19:20), and Seth Sweigart (19:21).
Hunter Miller (21:11) rounded out their top five in ninth.
RJ Bellinger (19:25) was fifth to lead the Trojans with teammate Isaac Gates (20:46) in sixth.
Kyle Kibbe (21:04) was eighth, Nolan Osgood (21:20) came in 10th, and Jasper Koch (22:44) finished 11st.
On the girls' side CV took two of the top three spots en route to the 27-28 win over Sullivan, and 24-31 victory over Troy.
The Lady Griffins edged Troy 26-29.
CV's Lainey Hacket (22:45) won the race.
Troy's Christine Ward (23:26) took second with teammate Annika White (25:00) in fifth.
Zoey Mann (27:42) was 11th, Kalynn Keltz (28:03) took 12th, and Sheridan Wilcox (29:49) was 15th.
Zoey Reese (24:34) was fourth to lead Sullivan, with Paige Jordan (25:10) in sixth. Adilynn Thibodeault (25:480 took seventh, Kara Jordan (26:01) was eighth, and Emily Guare (29:38) finished 14th to round out their scoring five.
In the junior high boys race Troy's Liam Shedden (10:44) won while CV went 1-2-3 in the girls' race.
