CANTON — Canton fell 3-1 to Athens during NTL volleyball action Tuesday.

The Wildcats took the first two sets 25-14 and 25-22, but the Warriors rallied for a 25-14 third set win. Athens took the final set 25-13.

Peyton Taylor had 16 points, eight assists, five digs, three aces, and a kill for Canton as Danah Wesneski notched 12 digs, three assists, two kills, three points, and an ace.

Kaybree Kendall had 12 digs, two points, and an ace, with Makenna Seachrist adding seven points, six digs, three kills, one block, and two aces.

Cailyn Van Noy had 10 digs, three points, an ace, and an assists, as Emilia Pepper notched eight points, two aces, and a kill.

Hannah Walters had six kills, two digs, and an assist, with Addy Cardona getting five kills, a dig, and a block.

Brenna Van Noy finished with three assists, and five digs.

Canton lost a hard fought JV match, 26-24, 25-23.

Raya Preston notched six assists, five digs, two aces, and a kill with Byrelle Space getting 10 digs with an assist.

Elise Pepper finished with four kills, two digs, and two aces, as Emilee Walker had three kills, tow aces, and a dig.

Hannah Walters added three kills with a dig, Lindley Sechrist tallied a kill with four digs, and Lexi McMurray had three digs with a kill.

Amelia Pepper added an ace with four digs as Naylei Strozyk finished with three digs.
