EAST TROY — Troy boys and girls runners earned wins over NP-Mansfield during NTL cross-country action Tuesday.

The Lady Trojan pack held as they edged NPM 27-28 despite the Tigers going 1-2 in the race.

Troy would take the next three spots with Christine Ward (23:15), Annika White (24:37), and Zoey Mann (25:57).

After NPM took sixth Troy's Kalynn Keltz (27:10) and Sheridan Wilcox (29:00) were seventh and eighth to secure the win.

Jaci Fairchild (22:48) and Leila Garverick (22:48) took the top two spots for NP-Mansfield.

In the boys race Troy packed their way to a win, too, taking four of the top six spots.

NPM's Michael Knefley (18:44) won followed by Troy's RJ Bellinger (19:44) and Isaac Gates (19:48).

Trojans Kyle Kibbe (20:40) and Nolan Osgood (20:45) were fifth and sixth. Rounding out the scorers was Asa Kibbe (22:17) in eighth.

NPM went 1-2-3 in the junior high girls race to win 18-37. Troy's Reagan Campbell (13:00) was fourth to lead the Trojans.

Troy's Liam Shedden (10:18) won the boys' race. NPM won the race 10-11.
