CANTON — Sullivan County earned NTL sweeps in boys and girls tri-meet action Tuesday, besting both Wellsboro and Canton.

For the boys Sullivan beat the Hornets (15-40) and the Warriors (19-36), with Canton edging Wellsboro (28-32).

Sullivan's Calen Sweigart (17:14) won the race with Canton's Manuel Halbfoerster (18:00) in second.

The Griffins took the next four spots with Chase Preston (18:20), Carter Blasi (18:32), Isaiah Botsford (18:35), and Seth Sweigart (18:36).

For Canton Landon Lake (18:48) was seventh, as Levi Vermilya (21:28) took 14th, Ryan Inman (21:47) was 15th, and Kobi Hoover (23:24) came in 18th.

For the girls the Lady Griffins beat Wellsboro (20-35) with both teams beating Canton 15-50.

Sullivan's Zoey Reese (22:45) was second overall behind Wellsboro's Lauren Kosek (21:00).

The Griffins had five of the top six spots, with Addisyn Templin (22:53) in third, Paige Jordan (22:58) in fourth, Kara Jordan (23:26) in fifth, and Addie Thibodeault (23:40) in sixth.

Canton's Elizabeth Halbfoerster (24:03) came in seventh, as Sarina Hess (26:19) was ninth.

In junior high boys action Sullivan won 15-40 over Wellsboro and 19-36 over Canton. Sullivan's Xander Kapler (11:04) was third overall, while Canton's Jake Van Horn (11:26) was sixth.

In the junior high girls race Wellsboro defeated both teams with Sullivan's Ayla Swift (15:57) taking sixth.
