EAST TROY — Troy and Wellsboro were fit to be tied as the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw during NTL girls soccer action Wednesday.

Stella Rockwell scored the Trojan goal, while Haylie Smith had the Hornet goal.

Wellsboro led 1-0 less than a minute into the game as Smith scored off a Luna Moyer helper.

Rockwell answered back at 31:20 on a penalty shot off a trip in the box.

The two defenses settled in after that.

Troy out shot Wellsboro 12-5 and had a 7-1 edge in corner kicks.

Izzy Renzi had three saves to lead the Trojans.

Troy hosts NEB on Tuesday.
