OWEGO, N.Y. — Towanda and NEB both finished in the top three while four area teams were in the top 10 at the Owego Invitational Boys varsity race Friday.

Towanda (131) took second with the Panthers (144) in third. Wyalusing (294) was seventh, Troy (334) took ninth, and Canton (461) was 20th.

NEB's Jackson Martin led all local runners, taking third overall in 15:52.4. Levi Dewing (16:46.3) was 15th, Xavier Lockwood (17:19.6) came in 29th, Keagan Netherton (18:03.6) was 50th, Jesse Dewing (18:06.6) finished 54th, Josiah Russell (18:06.9) was 55th, and Ian Bacon (19:57.4) finished 127th.

Emmett Klees (16:09.7) led Towanda with a ninth place finish, while Boom Thompson (17:03.7) was 21st.

Brayden Cox (17:04.2) took 22nd, Phillip Spinney (17:11.2) was 26th, Hagen Jones (18:16.7) finished 59th, Jackson Frederick (18:34.7) came in 68th, and Jaydon Stranger (18:45.5) was 77th.

Caleb King (17:48.5) and Parker Cunningham (17:49.3) were 42nd and 43rd to lead the Rams, as Griffin Sheldon (18:25.2) was 63rd. Cody Tuttle (18:42.40 was 74th, Dominick Trowbridge (18:56.8) came in 84th, and Tyler Caplan (19:15.2) finished 97th.

RJ Bellinger (17:37.4) was 34th to lead Troy as Isaac Gates (17:45.7) took 40th. Kyle Kibbe (18:56.4) was 83rd, Nolan Osgood (18:57.2) finished 86th, Draden Keltz (19:33) took 104th, Jasper Koch (19:48) was 116th, and Garrett Parks (19:49.1) was 117th.

Manual Halbfoerster (16:57.7) was 19th to lead Canton, with Landon Lake (17:54.7) in 46th.

Levi Vermilya (20:03.1) was 131st, Ryan Inman (20:15.5) took 136th, Tommy Preston (20:43.2) finished 149th, Kobi Hoover (20:43.7) was 150th, and Link Vermilya (21:24.8) came in 164th.

In the junior high boys race NEB (48) came in second to Corning (25).

The 12-man Panther team was led by Zeb Laudermilch (9:11.9) in second, while Cameron Lockwood (9:30.8) was sixth.

Rueben Kapr (9:48.9) took 10th, Kaden Netherton (10:09.4) was 16th, and David Murphy (10:31.4) rounded out the scorers in 26th.

Elijah Wolfe (10:40.9) took 31st, Eli Burns (10:50) was 32nd, Noah Burns (11:43.4) took 68th, Jeremiah Muzyka (12:24) finished 90th, Matthew Viviani (12:27.3) came in 93rd, Timothy Laudermilch (13:43.5) was 118th, and Jacob Viviani (14:46.6) finished 144th.

Towanda had three runners: Cameron Stranger (10:29) in 25th, Byran Dunn (10:40.5) in 30th, and Jackson Marr (12:45.8) in 104th.

Wyalusing had four runners: Easton Cunningham (11:45.4) took 70th, Kael Girven (11:59.9) came in 79th, Bowen Kennedy (12:57.4) was 106th, and Clark Rafford (13:22.1) took 114th.

The Trojans had two runners: Jacob Salle (13:17.5) was 11th, and Vincent Moyer (15:12.6) finished 149th.
