BOYS SOCCER: WYALUSING HAS EARLY LEAD BUT FALLS TO GALETON (September 28, 2026)

WYALUSING — For a half Wyalusing hung with Galeton, but a 4-goal second half from the Tigers allowed them to pull away for a 7-3 win during NTL boys soccer action Monday.
It was 3-3 at the half behind two goals from Sawyer Yoder, and one out of Bradyn Johnson. Johnson also had an assist.
Yoder gave the Rams an early lead at the 35:43 mark but it was short-lived as Galeton had goals at 32:57 and 25:08 to take a 2-1 lead.
There was some fast and furious action in the final two minutes, with Johnson scoring at the 2:22 mark to even things up.
Yoder then headed in the ball off a Johnson assist with 18 seconds left to put the Rams up 3-2.
Galeton would get the equalizer with four seconds left for the level scoreboard at the half.
The Tigers would get goals at 31:04, 30:32, 19:08, and 14:03 in the second half to pull away.
Galeton out shot Wyalusing 24-8, and had a 13-3 edge in corner kicks.
Ryland Kipp had eight saves in net for the Rams.
