WYALUSING — Wyalusing continued their strong play with a 2-0 win over NEB during NTL girls soccer action.

"The girls played well against a gutsy NEB team," Wyalusing coach Katie Fischer said. "I thought Mya, Storey, and Lia controlled the midfield well, and was happy to see the confidence in Jenna and Greta to take the shot from outside the 18. Sierra played very well in goal with nice communication from her defense."

Jenna Morningstar and Greta Bohn had the two Wyalusing goals, with Morningstar scoring the first goal late in the first half off a shot from the corner of the 18.

Bohn scored her goal in the second half off a Fischer assist.

Wyalusing had a 14-11 edge in shots, and 3-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Sierra Gromley made eight saves in net to get the clean sheet as Maggie Chappell had seven saves for the short-handed Panthers.
