NTL BOYS' TRACK & FIELD: WYALUSING SWEEPS IN QUAD MEET WITH TOWANDA, NEB (2021-05-04)

WYALUSING — The Wyalusing boys’ track and field team earned a sweep during a quad meet Tuesday, beating Towanda (112-38), Northumberland Christian (117-30), and NEB (118-26). Towanda topped NCC (87-59), and NEB (97-43), while the Panthers fell to NCC (75.5-45.5).

In the pole vault Towanda’s Mitchell Mosier (9-feet, 6-inches) won, as Wyalusing’s Alex Hunsinger (8-feet, 6-inches) was second, Knight Cody Griffith (8-feet, 6-inches) came in third, and Ram Alex Boyd (7-feet, 6-inches) finished fourth.


Wyalusing’s Kashawn Cameron (11.2) won the 100, as Towanda’s John Schoonover (12.0) was second, Ram Brian Arnold (12.1) took third, and Towanda’s Justin Schoonover (12.1) was fourth.


NEB’s Dan Seeley (114-feet) won the discus, as Wyalusing’s Jacob Palfreyman (107-feet, 10-inches) was second, and Abram Bennett (98-feet, 4-inches) third. Knight John Schoonover (98-feet, 4-inches) came in fourth.


Wyalusing’s Darevin Curlee (17.5) won the 110 hurdles, followed by Towanda’s Logan Lambert (18.1), NEB’s Austin Kithcart (18.7), and Ram Colbrin Nolan (20.3).


Ram Justin Hiduk (2:10) won the 800, followed by teammate Josh Stoddard (2:24) in third.


Wyalusing went 1-2 in the high jump with Grady Cobb (5-feet, 10-inches), and Ethan Lewis (5-feet, 8-inches). NEB’s Austin Kithcart (5-feet, 6-inches) came in third, as Ram Nolan Oswald (5-feet, 2-inches) was fourth.


Wyalusing’s 4x400 relay won in 3:53, as Towanda (3:58) was third.


Palfreyman (37-feet, 10 1/2-inches) won the shot put, with Seeley (36-feet, 1 1/2-inches) second, and Towanda’s Jared Gunther (34-feet, 9-inches) third.


Curlee (45.4) won the 300 hurdles, with Kithcart (48.2) second, Lambert (48.3) third, and Nolan (48.5) fourth.


The Ram 4x800 relay team won in 9:50, as Towanda (10:03) was second.


Hiduk (4:48) held on to win the 1600, with teammate Clayton Petlock (5:16) fourth.


Oswald (38-feet, 10-inches) won the triple jump, with Lambert (37-feet, 9-inches) second, and Griffith (33-feet, 3-inches) fourth.


Wyalusing’s 4x100 relay won in 53.9, as Towanda (55.3) was second.


Justin Schoonover (57.4) was second in the 400, with Wyalusing’s Travis Bahl (58.3) third.


Cameron (23.4), and Arnold (24.8) went 1-2 in the 200, as John Schoonover (25.3) was fourth.


Wyalusing’s Brody Fuhrey (12:40) was second in the 3200, with Towanda’s Nate Spencer (13:19) fourth.


Cameron (20-feet, 10-inches) won the long jump, with Mosier (18-feet, 7-inches) second, Oswald (18-feet, 7-inches) third, and Cobb (17-feet, 3-inches) fourth.


NEB’s Dan Williams (128-feet, 1-inch) won the javelin, with Bennett (124-feet, 8-inches) second, and Hunsinger (112-feet, 4-inches) fourth.
