WELLSBORO — Troy came away from Wellsboro with a 2-1 win on Tuesday, as Kyah Renzo scored the winning goal with 4:03 left in the game.

"Tonight was a battle with a very good Hornets team," said Troy coach Wayne Pratt. "Our entire team played as one. Each individual player that stepped on the field was locked in. We will continue to work on the trapping, passing, and movement as the regular season comes to an end."

Troy led 1-0 at the half as Haylie Grove scored off a Stella Rockwell assist. Late in the second half Luna Moyer scored to even up the contest.

The first game ended in a 1-1 tie, but not this time, as Renzo found the back of the net to give Troy the win.

Troy had an 18-8 edge in shots and 7-6 advantage in corner kicks.

Izzy Renzi made six saves in net for Troy.
