AAU SOFTBALL: LADY REBELS TAKE 2ND AT WELLSVILLE DIAMOND DAWGS TOURNAMENT (2021-07-11)

WELLSVILLE — The Lady Rebels came away with second place at the Wellsville Diamond Dawgs 16U Tournament on Sunday.

Mother Nature prevented from finishing it as they went 4-0 over the weekend, scoring 60 runs in the process. 

Troy’s Madi Palmer went 7-for-8 for the weekend, with three doubles, three runs scored, and 3-RBIs.

In the 12-1 win over the Lady Lions she was 1-for-1 with a double, and a run scored; in the 25-1 over the Lancaster Heat she went 1-for-2 with a run scored, and an RBI; in the 12-2 win over the OP Starz she went 2-for-2 with an RBI; and in the 11-4 semifinal win over the Lady Lions again Palmer had her best game, going 3-for-3 with two doubles, a run scored, and an RBI.
