NTL GOLF: TOWANDA RETURNS TO TAKE 6TH (2020-09-23)

WAVERLY, N.Y. - Towanda returned to NTL play on Wednesday at The Club at Shepard Hills, taking sixth with a score of 418.

They were three strokes from fourth, as CV shot 415, and one stroke from fifth, as Athens carded 417.

NP-Mansfield continued to roll, winning with a score of 367, as Wellsboro (374) and Sayre (382) were on their heels.

Wyalusing (439) came in seventh.

Will Pitcher and Ryan Elliott both shot 98 to lead the Knights. Pitcher finished with two birdies on the day - taking a two on the par-3 third hole and taking another deuce on the par-3 11th - while both finished with three pars a piece.

Garrett Chapman carded a 99 with four pars with Evan Hughes shooting a 123 and Anthony Intorcia finished with a 124.

Towanda missed the match at Tioga Country Club on Monday as school was closed but golfed at Eagles Mere on Tuesday.
