NTL VOLLEYBALL: TROY RALLIES PAST CV (2020-09-24)

WESTFIELD — Troy rallied from a 2-1 deficit to pull past Cowanesque Valley 3-2 in NTL volleyball action Friday.

CV edged out Troy in the first set 25-23 but it was the Trojans pulling that on CV in the second 25-23.

A 25-15 win by the Indians in the third set put them in control but Troy hung on, beating them 25-22 in the fourth. In the final set Troy won 15-10 to take the match.

Meredith Cole had 16 points, seven kills and 12 digs for the Trojans while Dalainey Braund added 10 points, 15 kills, seven digs and five blocks.

Vanessa Thomas had nine points, 18 assists, five kills, 23 digs and one block; Allee Dutrow had seven points, 22 digs, one kill and one assist; Sierra Yaggie had three points, 12 assists, five kills, 17 digs and a block and Annie Rosanelli had two points, one assist, five kills, 20 digs and one block.

Macy Vroman added five points, one dig and seven blocks.

CV won the JV match 25-20 and 25-16.
