MANSFIELD — Despite missing nine players due to Canton suspending school operations, Troy was able to blank NP-Mansfield, 3-0, in NTL girls’ soccer action Friday.

Hunter McClellan had two goals in the contest as the Trojans remained undefeated on the season.

Their first goal was scored by Makenna Matthews at the 24:23 mark of the first half.

McClellan then scored with just over 10 minutes remaining for a 2-0 lead. She added her second with 25:35 left to play in the contest.

Troy had 14 shots-on-goal and eight corner kicks as Olivia Tate made two saves for the clean sheet.

The Trojans travel to NEB Saturday for a noon start.
