NTL GIRLS' SOCCER: BENNETT'S GOAL ENOUGH FOR TOWANDA'S 1-0 WIN (2020-09-26)

TIOGA JUNCTION - Towanda’s Porschia Bennett scored a second half goal and the Knights escaped Williamson with a 1-0 win in NTL girls’ soccer action Saturday.

The game was scoreless at the half but with 31:49 left in the game Bennett hit the back of the net. That one goal was enough for Towanda, who allowed just six shots on goal in the contest.

The Knights had 13 shots themselves as Erin Barrett made six saves in net. Williamson keeper Abby Ackley had five saves in the contest.

Towanda also had a 7-0 edge in corner kicks.
